On Wednesday 13th September 2006, eight detectives from the Homicide Command of the Metropolitan police will embark on a journey from the most northerly point of the British Isles down to the most southerly tip.

John O’Groats to Lands End a distance of 989 miles, which they intend to complete in ten days, at an average distance of 100 miles a day.

The team, plus support will complete this epic journey on two wheels only assisted by pedal power and determination. Watch their journey on the diary page.
